A recent study has suggested that marital infidelity is reaching new highs. According to the survey 25.4% of married men and 18.3% of married women have committed adultery at least once during their marriage. The poll was conducted on a group of 635,000 members, which is equivalent to a 3% of all married Brits.
In today’s world, trust is a difficult thing to maintain, even more so when taking into account the interconnectivity of the world. With the introduction of Internet dating, and personal message boards like Craigslist, deception seems to be an inescapable reality of the modern world, as there is far more opportunity to become distracted and encouraged by outside influences.
